History of the Railway Hotel

The Railway Hotel was not always known in its current form. Back in 1872 the Fyans family applied for a Publicans License.

On the 20th September 1875 there was a fire that occurred at the Railway Hotel.

In 1876 an ad was placed to let the newly renovated Railway Hotel.

Late in 1876 Patrick Fyans applied for a Publicans License.


In August of 1877 Mrs Mitchell took out an adverisement in the local paper promoting the services of the Railway Hotel.
